Carpentry in Marbella:

Bespoke kitchens in Marbella, made for villas and built to last

If there’s one room that shows the quality of a carpenter’s work, it’s the kitchen. I make bespoke kitchens in Marbella for villas, treating each one as what it is: the most-used room and the one that has to stand up to the most wear. This is where I bring together everything I’ve learned in over thirty years in the trade, from woodworking school to the lacquer finishes I bring back from Italy.

Bespoke kitchens for villas in Marbella and Sotogrande

I design every kitchen for the home it will belong to. In a villa in Marbella or Sotogrande, an off-the-shelf kitchen won’t do: you need to think about the island, the work triangle, concealed storage and how it fits with the rest of the project. That’s what I do, bespoke from start to finish.

A kitchen starts with a conversation

Tell me how you cook and live, or send me a photo for inspiration. My design team turns it into a 3D plan; we choose the wood and finishes, then make it in the workshop. We install it ourselves, and on average, it’s ready in four weeks.

Bespoke kitchen islands

The island is the centrepiece of a villa kitchen. I make it to fit your space, with an integrated worktop and storage on both sides.

Lacquered and oak kitchens

From European oak with its stained grain to Italian matt lacquer, I choose the finish to suit the light and style of the home.

Kitchens for new builds and villa renovations

I work with architects on new-build projects and on renovations of lived-in villas, coordinating with the other trades.

The woods and finishes I work with

Wood:
European oak, walnut and ash

I mainly use European oak for the way it takes stain and ages. I also use walnut and ash, and veneered MDF when a project calls for it—it performs very well and uses less solid wood.

Finishes:
Italian lacquer, stain and brass inlays

I use top-quality Italian lacquer that stands up to everyday kitchen use. And when the design calls for it, I finish with brass or metal inlays that give the kitchen a distinctive look.

Where we are

I make everything in my workshop in Mijas, Málaga, and install kitchens across the Costa del Sol: Marbella, Sotogrande, Benahavís, Estepona and the rest of the province.

Frequently Asked Questions About Bespoke Kitchens

  • How much does a bespoke kitchen cost in Marbella?

It depends on the size, wood and finishes. After seeing the project, I’ll prepare a fixed-price quote with no obligation.

  • What woods do you use for kitchens?

Mostly European oak, walnut and ash, and veneered MDF where it works best. I’ll advise you based on the light and style of your villa.

  • Do you make bespoke kitchen islands?

Yes, islands are one of my most popular features: made to fit your space, with an integrated countertop and storage.

  • How long does it take to make and install a kitchen?

On average, four weeks from sign-off on the design. I’ll give you a date before we start.

  • Do you work with the villa’s interior designer or architect?

Yes, I coordinate with your architecture or interior design studio and work from their plans.

  • Do you make kitchens for new builds and renovations?

Both. On new-build projects, I work alongside the other trades; for renovations, I adapt to the villa you already have.
